does anyone know where there is a video of anything coming up to absolute zero? You know, like the effects and outcome. if not, pictures would be fine

Thanks so far, But i know what absolute zero is, i was just wondering if theres a video or picture of something bringing something else close to absolute zero

I like how everyone tries to put in their substantial knowledge on the subject without answering the question. So I will, No there is no video evidence or pictures of anything at absolute zero because we have not been able to reproduce those types of temperatures.

* And to the first poster: Matter does not cease to exist at absolute zero. The atoms in matter cease to move or vibrate. The electrons do not stop moving. There is no possible way for an electron to collapse into the nucleus, an electron is not held in it's orbit by the speed of it's orbit.

No because Absolute Zero (0 K) is the temperature at which matter ceases to exist because the electrons are slowed to a stop and will collapse into the nucleus. Absolute zero is a theoretical limit which hasn't been reached, exactly, as yet. There are still a few decimal points to go. Even deep space has a temp of 3 K

Temperature is a measure of heat energy that surround the interstices of atomic structures.
Zero degree temperature means a total abscence of heat between the Atoms. By removing heat from a substance the atoms will be pushed more and more closer to gether till a limit is reached and cannot be pushed to gether by gravity any further. At this point I call it a frozen atom. The atom has lost energy and become slightly smaller in volume and in electron mass. Since the electron has experience a maximum mass loss ,it moves at an increased velocity .
Hence when the velocity of the electrons approach near speed of light ,the atoms in the structure of the material have appoached zero degee absolute.
Therefore theoretically at zero degree kelvin of temperature energy the mass structure now exists as frozen atoms.

This is the easiest explanation of what happens at zero degrees absolute.
