I have a few anime with a couple different types of alter egos. I group them by type.
Somewhat superhero-esk with the two identities:

well there are a lot, specially if we talk about clamp, these grils are amaizing... for exasmple, they have sakura card captors, where the main caracters sakura, her father, tomoyo, yukito and her brother.. all of them shows in another history also by clamp name tsubasa they are the same people with the same names but it's like another dimension ... actually this same story its liked with another name xxxhollic where they explain you that there a lot of dimensions where you'll eventually find, the same people but the life of every one it's gonna be different from world to wolrd.... this same situation happens whit "X" and "tokio Babilon" and "X" and "Detective Campus".... as a matter of fact they mix all their stories on this one... it's great...
There are another story by clamp too (sorry I'm a fan) actually it's their first job (the best I think) name "RG Veda" where the main caracter name Ashura has like two personalities you know the good one whic is a really cute little girl and the bitchie elder herself sleeping deep in side of her whom kill evething and everyone on her way...

Lucy (Hikaru)(she had Luz, or at lest that was the name they give them on mexico)
