If you were called for a job interview and was told to be at a place at a certain time for the interview, and the interviewer never showed up...but called you a week later saying you were hired. Would you trust the company? I was just hired at the wal mart portrait studio this way as a photographer (i have never used professional photography equipment) , while on the phone she offered me the managers postions (I have never been a manager before either). Im not sure if I can trust a company that hires without an interview...would you?

I dont think Id trust them, I mean if the interviewer cant show up for the interview...that sounds like a shaky deal.

Doesn't sound like a good place to work. However, she could just be a really cruddy interviewer. If you've got the manager's job, perhaps you could sack the interviewer for incompetence and turn the company around.

i would just go for it, but if i didnt receive a paycheck, then i would definitely be talking to the interviewer and demand that i got something out of it!!!
