It's not tacky to name your kid after another ethnicity as long as you respect the culture in which I do. From what I know so far, I find it fascinating. People do this all of the time.

I like Gabriel Quentin Jason and your Hawaiian choices are great, the ancient warrior thing is right on.

Gabriel and Jason are the only decent ones on the list. It's tacky to name your kid after an ethnicity he's not part of.
