The specifications can vary from one piece of software to the next.
Remember when using Audocad and Architectural softwares along with Photoshop and other Ram Intensive programs, I would opt for the best there is if you are going with a PC get a Dell.

1. Maximum possible RAM.
2. Largest Hard Disk.
3. Good Video Card.
