I am considering this for my 50th next year and would like to hear your comments. I have had large breasts all my life and am sick of them.

I've had a breast reduction Feb 2006 (38J to 38C) and I do not regret it one bit.

I feel there are NO disadvantages to having this, especially since when I woke up in the recovery room I had no back pain at all.

Check out http://www.breasthealthonline.com it is an excellent FAQ, support, and picture site. Very worth it before and after my surgery.

Good luck!

As for someone saying they'll grow back... a good surgeon will take as much fatty tissue out of your breasts as he possibly can, therefore if you would gain weight your breasts would not change too much.

Go for it. Make sure you are comfort with your specialist's abilities. The best thing I found after my reduction was - people started to talk to my face not my boobs, guys I worked with for a few weeks kept saying "there is something different about me" but they couldn't work it out. I told them after a month, thought I better easy their minds... Go girl, and start your 50th year off well.

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

I honestly think I have the best body in the world and I'm beaming with confidence. That's all that matters.

Go for it though, if it makes you feel great. I hear more people having problems with breast enlargement than the other way around.

I really thought about it. I saw the doctor and then the specialist. I was sitting there with my boobs out having them drawn all over and being told what they were going to do to them. I panicked, ran away, fled the hospital. If you really feel it would help and want them done the go for. I'm pleased I didn't but that's personal choice. One thing though, you do know that your breasts can grow back, if you put on weight or hormones can do it.

It could be a good desicion if they are a strain on your life or you physically, like if its making your back sore etc.

If you do decide to go through with it, make sure its with a surgeon you can trust or who has been referred to you by a GP.

If it does affect you life in a dramatic physical way, you can apply to get it off the NHS - if you live in the UK. I'm not sure where you live...

Good luck!

Two words for you: Demi Moore.

I'm 36 and I think it is the BEST birthday present you could give yourself. Let me know how it goes. I'm tired of these "bald twins." They're a beauty but a burden.

I wanna be free!
