I happen to like Western Digital drives, I find them very durable and reliable.

You can assemble your own external harddisk instead of going out and buying a 'brand' name hard drive. You get ripped off because you can save heaps by buying an external harddrive case plus any form of hard disk you want. Due to the size of the hdd you want which is 320 gb, then you will have to stick to the 3 1/2 inch hdd. Any brand of drive will do but I recommend either Western Digital or Seagate. The external drive case, you should buy a Blue Eye case or a Vantec case. There's many different brands, but all you can install yourself. There's also the choice of hdd connections and that is SATA or PATA drives. The easiest to use would be the common PATA drives which have the ribbon connections and is used by older drives. SATA is the one with the red and thin connectors. There's also SATA-2 but are difficult to get hold of. The important thing is if your hdd is SATA, then get a compatible case which has SATA.
I wouldn't bother buying a Western Digital external hdd (which is the hdd plus the case) unless the sum of the parts+case is more expensive than the price of the Western Digital or Seagate internal drive + Blue eye/Vantec case. Other branded cases eg Lacie or Porche are too damn expensive. Your drive should then connect to the PC by USB 2, or if you bought a case that has also firewire, you can use firewire if you have firewire ports on your PC.

a transportable stressful force is an exterior stressful force besides the undeniable fact which you would be able to get large exterior stressful drives that are no longer actual transportable. as quickly as I say large I advise in length no longer in reminiscence. The small ones now days have somewhat some concepts. The final one i offered has terabytes as reminiscence that's very large. that's a link to the best 10 on the marketplace to your use.

I'm a big fan of Western Digital; they are a good value for the money, and to date, I've never had one die.
