Life never had a meaning!

Life can only have meaning in terms of what the person posing this question cares about. For if it had a "meaning" that said person did not care about, they would not accept it as meaning in the sense they were looking for

A very interesting question. Life has a meaning. To find its meaning is my meat and drink. So much of our lives are meaningless, a self-cancelling vacillation and futility. We strive by the chaos about us and within. But we will believe all the while that there is something vital and significant in us, could we but decipher our own souls. We want to understand; life means for us constantly to transform into light and flame all that we are or meet with. One of those who don't want millions, but an naswer to their questions. We want to seizew the value and perspective of passing things, and so to pull ourselves up out of the maelstorm of daily circumstance. We wnat to know that the little things are little, and the big things big, before it is too late. We want to see things now as they will seen forever - in the light of eternity. We want to learn to laugh in the face of the inevitable, to smile even at the looming of death. We want to be whole, to coodinate our energies by criticizing and harmonizing our desires, for coordinated energy is the last word in ethics and politics, and perhaps in logic and metaphysics too.

Have a wonderful day!

I've answered similar questions like this a million times.

The answer is "to be happy". And let others be happy, too. I mean, life's like a big party. Just enjoy yourself and let others enjoy, too.

Life is full of happy moments and little surprises that bring joy along with them. You should relish those happy moments when they come. But you should not be selfish (i.e.) you should not expect to experience that happiness always. If you're not selfish, then you will automatically make others happy too.

There's this quote I left at a similar ques. - "Live and let live".

Hope you are satisfied with my answer. Thanx.

Life is meant to be lived. So the meaning of life is to live it!

there are no words to describe the meaning of life
this is simply because everyones is different
yours is whatever you want it to be, and you WILL spend your life trying to achieve it, no matter what
for example: the meaning of my life is to get a good job and possibly have a family someday, whilst taking care of my parents etc.
thats what i think my purpose is
some peoples purpose is to travel, get on TV, loads of stuff
it can change quite often too

well, obviously i dont KNOW this, and i dont believe that anyone truely does and can prove it, its just what i think =)

"A Purpose Driven Life: Here to Serve"
by Ron Holmes

In our journey in search of a life of purpose, we’ve discussed, first of all, that the search must begin with God. That sounds like a no-brainer, yet we know the truth in our society today that many, many people are searching for purpose in life with no acknowledgment whatsoever of God’s place in their lives. Such a search is fruitless and doomed to frustration and failure. The starting place for meaning and purpose in life is in a relationship with Almighty God, our Creator who created us for a specific purpose. Next we discussed that the search for purpose takes us to worship—bringing our Creator pleasure through the worship we offer, not only on Sunday morning, but each and every day as we consciously and intentionally make God the center of our everyday, ordinary lives. Then we discussed that a life of purpose does not take place in isolation, but within the family of God where we openly share with one another, lovingly care for each other, and gracefully encourage one another. And, last week, we looked at how God loves us as we are, but He refuses to leave us there. God wants us to be just like Christ. Today, we build some more on the process of becoming more like Christ and finding purpose in life by hearing and responding to the call to serve others....

I imagine that at the end of one's life the only meaningfull experience is to have been totally honest with yourself throughout your lifetime. People constantly try to fool themselves. Be honest with yourself, always, and life will certainly be easier to live and much more enjoyable as well.
