Is anyone here a former member of the "Children of God" or "The Family?

If so...what was your experience like? I just saw this documentary on Cinemax on demand about it.

I am not familiar with any movement called the "Children of God" or the "Family", but as a Christian, even at 71, I consider myself to be a child of God.
