في أي موضع من المسعى يُسْرع الساعي في المشي؟

I think my problem is I don't know what المسعى means.

My partial translation: In which spot from [?] does the person who does sai' hurry in (while) walking?

This has to do with the Islamic Religious ritual of Umrah (running between the mountains of Safa and Marwa seven times).

From the lessons I am working on - website:

Means to strive (for some thing) but while in Haj or Umra it is the ritual / practice as done by Hajira (Hagar)(pbuh).

This SAYEE refers to the efforts of Hajira in search of water, running 7 times, from SAFA to MARWA and back. God made it an obligation for completion of Haj and Umrah.

Al-Mas`a : The place where pilgrims walk between the two hills of Safa and Marwah

it's called as it is in English 'assai' or 'al-masaa' which is 'the striving spot' .

And to answer the question, or i think you already know, it's between the two green neon lights hung on the walls, and Muslims [men only] should walk fast , or even jog between those two lights.

the question, therefore; would be:

'in which psrt of the 'sai' should the pilgrim or the 'saai' hasten in his walk?'
