I have applied to be in the RCMP and have a bad credit rating according to my credit report I just pulled, in process of disputing some, but I have 7 derogatory accounts on there due to collections, can you make a deal to pay in full in exhange for them removing it from your bureau? If you just pay in full and send receipts to the bureau what will that do for your credit? Does it then change last activity date so those are on there for longer?

The only way to do this is whats called a pay for delete agreement.

You must get this in writing before you pay a dime.

You can talk to the company, some will remove in exchange for payment and some won't.

When you do pay, I ususally send a copy of proof of payment to the bureau to dispute the amount showing or the status.

A paid collection still scores exactly the same as an unpaid collection so your score won't change just for paying.

The date of removal is 7 yrs + 180 days from the date of first delinquency and that won't change by paying.

Just because you pay them that does not mean that they will be removed from your score, it will just show as satisfied. You can request, and you must request that it is in writing that upon payment of these delinquencies that the reports will be removed from your credit score. If they will not put this in writing then do not pay them off as that will not help your score at all. Another thing to look at is whether or not you are beyond the statute of limitations in collecting said bills. If you are beyond the SOL and only have a few months to go till they fall off, why pay? they cannot touch you

not all series agencies purchase the debt, quite very few purchase the debt, they contract with the creditor to collect. so the different answer is maximum in all probability incorrect. you ought to persist with with the aid of with whom you paid and made the contract to do away with with. How some time past did this ensue? whilst did you examine your credit document final? credit records only replace month-to-month

Try a pay for deletion form letter and send it certified.

Good luck.
