Jamus F Trip.....NO your way are to suppress others from there faith to wipe out prayer and faith and to submit to what you deem as correct, and anyone who disagrees is a delusional nut case..
and Pres. Bush did not start the war..that war was brought here to YOUR country you so comfortably enjoy the benifits of, by massacaring thousand at 9/11 or have you forgot that? yet if we don't "defend" our way of life and freedom we will be like all the other communist countrys, unless you would prefer that.

NO I don't believe in killing innocent people, but defending this country is not murder, let one of the nice people of any of those countrys have a hold of you for a hour and they would rape kill you, they shoot gay people and anyone caught in adultery, or women who's heads are uncovered.nice huh

If evolution is outlawed, basically outlaws will evolve... i think strongly that evolution study in colleges, and that creationism, if needed, be parenthetical. clever layout would desire to be scorned like the fudge-ingredient it is. Creationism isn't a theory, yet a concept, an occasion of incorrect instinct. it is the monkey wrench interior the gadget. yet, and that's a huge yet (no pun meant), faith isn't with regard to the international. the international is to be discarded like an previous husk. This physique is a shell...a vessel for the soul, and an expression of spirit, destined to return to the region it got here from (the dirt? lol)

I, for one, don't care what path others choose to follow. However you may not want to question other people's open-mindedness when you answered a recent question with the following quote
" it's impossible because there is no sin in God and homosexuality is a sin and a abomination"
or else you may come off a little hypocritical.
BTW- Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11. And the war that Bush started with Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with the reasons he gave for it. Nice to know that a Christian has no problem in killing innocent civilians (like we did when we bombed Bagdad) as long as they are not Americans.
EDIT- yet again, Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11. Therefore the attack was unjustified and they have lost far more innocent civilians than we did on 9-11. Also, I helped several 9-11 charities get off the ground so don't worry about my concern for the victims of 9-11. And the commandment is Thou shalt not kill, not thou shalt not kill unless you think you have a reason to. Again I will state, I do not care what path others choose. I have great respect and admiration for many Christians on here. However I do not suffer fools.

Not really, I do not agree.
The idea here is, what is there to believe and not "not to believe". Asking for evidence and plainly asking you not to believe are two different thing.
Close mindedness and blindly believing is a fine line too. If you believe without proof and relying on what you call "faith". It is blindly believing. If you cannot provide proof and yet refusing to listen to the opposing views, then it is close mindedness.
Hypocrisy comes when I tell you I do not believe in your god, then I go around praying to your god, that is hypocrisy.

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't personally care what people believe so long as they leave me out of it. How many questions on here do you see where atheists are telling theists how sinful and morally bankrupt they are because of their beliefs and they they better convert to our way of thinking OR ELSE!!! Now compare that to how many questions there are where theists go on a mini-tirade telling atheists they're going to burn in hell for all eternity unless they convert.
If anyone here is being hypocritical and closed minded, it's you.
~~EDIT~~
I've seen that. So what? I don't see where he's going on about how stupid Christians are or how they're going to hell or are bad or evil people. He's saying he feels sorry for them because they believe what they do, but he's not being rude or arrogant or a jerk about it. He's also not telling Christians that if they don't change their minds and start believe what he believes then they're going to pay for it for the rest of eternity. And naturally, the first thing you say in your answer is how Christians won't be going to hell in a way that implies "...but you will". Sorry, but this one guy's question isn't helping to prove your point.

Generalize much?
I don't care that Christians believe. In fact I'm happy that they believe something that gives them comfort and a moral grounding.
I DO care when Christians attempt to impose that belief on others through the political, legal, healthcare or educational systems, or claim special status or privileges within those systems based on their beliefs.

Nope, don't agree with you at all. We are not shoving anything down your Christian throats. We are just expressing how view religion. Christians on the other hand try to shove their beliefs unto everyone else's throats by scarring people into believing that we are doomed to rot in a burning inferno, like Hell if you don't convert and believe in the God you believe in! tsk, tsk - Shame on you!

You see that is the thing... we have for the past few decades taken the live and let live approach. We are now coming out of our lethargy to discover we have a president taking us to war because god said. We see in north dakota the erosion of a womans right to choose. We see in washington people eroded the seperation of church and state by attempted legislation to teach creationism in publicly funded schools. We see gays being forced into second class citizenship because YOUR church said it ought to be thus... and so on and so forth...
In a nutshell while we have let you all be you all have been actively eroding our rights to our life liberty and the persuit of happieness.
Your reaction, however predictable, is inappropriate as you see one stopping your ilk from stealing our rights as an attack on your ways, and kinda sorta it is. Since your ways are to suppress the ways of others.

right ... it shows a real open mind being against gay marriages
there's no double standard in saying that a Christian that committed murder but repented is more likely to go to heaven than a Jew who lived a decent life...
