How does it taste? I'm 24, & this is my 1st time I plan to try alcohol, but I'm scared. The reason why I'm trying it is because I'm very deeply depressed & have no one really to turn to for emotional support. This is like an escape mechanism. I feel bad after buying it now, & I feel like a kid who snuck out & stole because I know people are gonna look down on me & shun me & call me stupid for wanting to try alcohol. I'm hurt & I'm frustrated & angry, & I'm tired of being controlled & judged by people.

But anyways, how does that wine cooler taste?

I've never had the cooler. I've only ever had the real thing.... and dang it, I need to get some Peach Schnappes before my Orange juice is all gone.

Alcohol for depression is never a good idea. It only makes you more depressed, but I doubt there's much alcohol in the coolers any way.

No one should ever make you feel bad because you've chosen to drink, for what ever reason. As long as you don't drink to excess you'll be okay. Those who look down on you are obviously lacking in something in themselves.

Good luck.

It taste alright, it's not my favorite flavor or brand of wine cooler though.Personally, I prefer "Peels" blueberry/pomegranate flavor. They are made by Budwiser (who owns Sea World and Bush Gardens) and they use a lot of what they make to help out the animals so I don't feel too bad about drinking away my money because I know that it goes to a good cause. If you want to try a wine cooler that is your business and if people look down on you for it, then that is their problem. You are a grown adult and can do whatever you want to do. A warning about alcohol though, sometimes it can make you more depressed than you already are so if you do decide to drink, keep that in mind.

I have never had one. A Fuzzy Naval though has orange juice as a base (and vodka and Peach Scnapps), but a wine cooler would be different. I am assuming it still has an orange juice / peach taste.

No one should judge you for wanting to try alcohol. I personally take an antidepressant and cannot drink one drink without it making me unable to drive and very sleepy. But I have had drinks before and I don't see anything wrong with having a social drink.

I am sorry you have no one to turn to for emotional support. That is rough. Is your best friend still around? I hope so.

Good luck to you.

First let me say that no way in any form or shape does alcohol make things better because when you sober up you still have to deal with reality. But yes I have tried it and its pretty darn good. I have a thing for peach flavored drinks and it was good....although I was only 17 and have moved on to bigger drinks. But is good to start you out because it doesnt really contain that much alcohol. Its more like a peach flavored soda to me.

The answer probably involves flagging down Michael J Fox's time traveling Delorean and going back to the 80's.
