It's possible if he can execute enough to score the points he needs, but doesn't tire out later in the fight if it goes that far. I doubt that he'd hurt Mayweather because he's so damn quick! He's gotta stay moving and think/move and utilize angles like Mayweather although Hatton has his own style. The best thing that could happen for Hatton, would be for Mayweather to underestimate him. That would open up some doors for Hatton if he recognized them when the arise.

Mayweather paid Hatton a compliment by giving him the old phsycho - babble routine, Ricky has overcome other opponents who tried the same tactic.Mayweather has everything to prove, as good a boxer as he most certainly is, Mayweather's other opponents did not keep coming at him relentless like Hatton will, it will be a memorable fight, I predict a points decision in Hattons favour. Job done!

I really hope so. I think Hatton will fair better the shorter the fight, i.e. knock him out before round 8 is over. After that Mayweather could be favourite even if it does go down to a dubious point decision. Or perhaps his glove will split mysteriously when the English boy is ahead to allow time for him to recover( sound familiar to boxing historians??)

I think mayweather will pick off Hatton with jabs and run around the ring to eek out a points decision.

yes he will and I tell you what gayweather is scared shitl*ss...its a fight that needs no hype but all I see is gayweather trying to noise up hatton to break his mindset I just hope ricky can keep it together and punch the head off the impudent prik its not a matter of if more a matter of when...I can see gayboy changing his boots for a pair of nike's as his best defence has always been a backward sprint
