1) 30 days usually

2) Go to the promotion board in your unit. You are automatically given the ranks of E-1 through E-4 from time in service. E-5 and E-6 you have to go to boards to pass. E-7 and above is normally selected by Department of Army and Congress.

3) E4 promotable. (I have seen some E5's go, but not many)

4) Yes, it is the primary leadership school in the Army. After this course you have BNOC then ANOC and you can not go to either of those two unless you have completed this one.

5) Once you get promoted you will get paid more.

6) Usually yes.

now a days you can be a PFC to a SGT

well yea if you are trying to go from spc to sgt it looks good

yes it does .......with the new point system its worth 80 promotion points

no you do not get pay more.....except when you make rank

well they can start the paperwork right before they leave from deployment.......or if you are in RD your commander can put you in

If your marriage hangs in the balance of a four day weekend your marriage is already screwed. Go to WLC, you can still have a career.

Be recommended for promotion to SGT. That's really all you can do.
