It's not dangerous if you get a professional to do it. Some girls at my old school did theirs with a kilt pin at lunch time and they we're in ER!

My friend got hers done by a doctor and they did the wrong bit and she had to go to hospital too.

I got mine done and I havn't had any problems. Just make sure you follow the instructions given, wash it twice a day and when you're in the shower make sure you turn the bar. Don't ever change your bar when the skin is dry, it'll bleed.

It's pretty safe. I suggest getting a doctor to do it.

No not really just make sure you know whee you are going. and that the instruments are sterilized by a heat temp sterilizer and bagger in propper sterilation poucher you can check proper bags change color when processed at the correct temp make sure that there hands are clean and gloves are worn and only used for you not to be walking around and touching things wear loose clothing its not bad to have done mine was easy it was after wards they will give you a antibacterial soap to use so what they say and you will be fine and if you are allergic to any metals go with only 14kt gold what ever color you chose you heal faster and you wont have to worry about finding out if you are allergic to other metals

No not if you get it done by a professional. All though there is always a risk when you are getting a piercing as it is actually a deep tissue wound. As long as it is done properly and kept clean afterwards you should be fine.

Normally it isn't dangerous if it is done under sanitary conditions. But I will warn you, it really hurts to have it done and it hurts even worse when it gets stuck on your clothes or something and you yank it out.

9 out of 10 time, it's not dangerous.
As long as you take care of it, by keeping it clean and NOT playing with it until it heals, you should be alright.
Just use anti-bacterial soap(Dial is the best) to keep it clean, and rotate it every couple of hours.
Do your best to avoid snagging it on clothing, it'll snag anyways, but do your best.
just listen to what your piercer tells you, he/she knows what they're talking about.

Not unless you overlook the proper care and gizmos that you hang on it, as most piercers do.
