Hmm, I still play Tekken 5 on occasion, mainly at the local arcade though (never could get my thumbs to get along with Sony's d-pad controls...and Tekken *never* uses the thumbsticks).

Problem is, I really don't have the patience any more to master the juggles and multi-throws that everyone else uses to *own me* in player-versus-player....so I end up playing a lot less than I'd like to, especially against that crowd. You know, the folks who bring their own PS2 controller from home to plug into the machine, and have their cheat sheets *fresh off the internet* and every thing (no printer at my end, sorry).

Still....having said all that. ^_^ Sorry to take so long.

--Yoshimitsu. ^_^ There's just something about a demonic puppet "space ninja" who brings a freakin' *sword* to a fistfight that rocks my world. Or maybe it's his weird, "happy dance" he does on one foot sometimes when he wins.

--Bryan Fury. I didn't like the guy at first--preferred Bruce Irving's more pure Thai Boxing myself--but in the Tekken 5 games he's just become this zombie Rock-em Sock-em Robot, yes, even more so than Jack-5. It's *hilarious* how over-the-top "creepy and disturbing" Namco has made the guy.

--Ling Xiaoyu. ^_^ Just because she's *cute*. And unlike the other "cute" characters in the game (like _Dark Resurrection's_ Lili), Ling doesn't have so many big *gaping* holes in her offense....if you can work her juggles and her short ranges, she's good. Did I mention she's like, **CUTE**? *rofl* =))

Do I play other characters? Sure. My Marshall Law is still pretty good, as is my Eddy Gordo...and Marduk is good for getting frustrations out of your system, in a "HULK SMASH!!" sort of way...but....I really don't like focusing just on the characters that are high-percentage against other people, that I know back and forth, side to side. After 5 Tekken games in....the high-percentage characters get boring. As does having people call me "cheap" for using the high-percentage characters. ^_^

So yeah, I play around with just about anyone who *isn't* King, Armored King, or Nina. The multi-throw chains are just a pain for me....

Thanks for your time! ^_^ I hope this was helpful.

Sergei Dragunov

Dragunov is considered the very symbol of fear on the battlefield whose overwhelming fighting prowess has earned him the title "The White Angel of Death".
