Can i re-dip my red candy apples?

I made them last night and the syrup didnt get as hard as i wanted. I stirred the syrup too much i guess, then i read that you shouldnt stir it after boiling. They are for a party and are ok but i wish they were GREAT.

I don't see why not. The shell might end up being thicker than usual but I don't think that would be a huge problem.
