During that time there was millions of species and when you do the math for the 7 days here had to get ready.he would have to load about 30 species per second. and how did the freshwater fish survive in a salt water ocean? or did Noah have fish tanks
= / oh and another thing each species needs a different climate to survive in so please enlighten me.

Well i used to think yo uhad to be completely retarded or have sniffed too much paint thinner in your life to believe the entire world was flooded.
i don't believe in the 6 days is 6 24 hour days.
Anyways...we've proven that the earth had atleast 2 complete "snowballs"....the entire plante was covered in ice........what is ice????....liquid water.
i mean steel is "frozen" iron.....
Yeah i'm a chemical engineer...i get super nerdy....but these are the truths....
Anyways....the entire wordl was basically Mesopotamia at the time.....yeah china ...america....europe might've been habitated (i hope thats a word).....but this slightly pre-judaism religion wasn't given to those people. THey probably have their own issues and things to deal with.

"You realize, of course, that even when you read the Bible literally, there is no indication (in the Hebrew) that the flood covered the whole earth, or that Noah took two of every species on earth. And there is really no reason to take the story as a literal account in the first place.
You might as well argue that Animal Farm is impossible because animals can't talk."
not exactly true, remember the rainbow incident?

WOW! Do you not believe in any miracles?? Most children know that different species can adapt to different climates and other conditons. Many species that have been thought to be extinct millions of years of ago are being found alive and well. I could give you scientific facts but if you don't want to hear it there really is no point.b I will just pray for you!

Let's not even start on the fact the ark itself would be the size of a modern aircraft carrier, an impossible structure to make out of wood. Maybe the gods let Noah use the USS Nimitz?

Of course it was impossible. You do know what the definition of a "miracle" is don't you?
And why just pick on Noah's Ark? Is it any more or less difficult to believe than that Jesus came back from the dead?
===edit===
Why do atheists keep arguing that all of the miraculous stories in the Bible are scientifically impossible? Duh! Isn't that the point? Think about it.

Here are just a few more problems with the noah story, not only is it absurd, but the people arguing its historicity just keep changing how and what god did, how many animals were needed, sometimes he manged to get babies and raise them. It is embarasing that anyone who has ever seen the inside of a school believes such utter nonsense.

Whoa, whoa. Were you there? I don't think so...
The Bible tells us that the atmosphere was changed dramatically AFTER the flood, so that the rainbow could be viewed. People used to live 900 years or more. After the flood, life spans dramatically dropped. There weren't that many species as you imagine there were because it was a very long time ago. We don't even know what was there at the time. Dinosaurs could have lived during that time. And the Ark was ENORMOUS. Not to mention that the animals came to him one by one, it wasn't like he had to go on a search party finding each and every one. God did help a "little" and nothing is impossible with God.

Since the flood was performed through an act of science by the God Yahweh, modern science will prove over time that the story of Noah's flood happened just the way God tells us it happened.
