thats` not true . depending on the witch themselves . whats` wrong with thoses people that think witches are all bad ? have they ever heard of a wiccan ?

but wiccans don`t worship god . doesn`t mean there evil . they just don`t believe it worshiping just one person alone ? i mean i never really heard of a wicca that was christian or catholic .

Wow...it's so sad and scary to hear all the brainwashed Christian babblers posting here. The world does not have to be black or white....god or satan. (not satin) Expand your paradigms people.

And that pretty much answers your question. People that have been brainwashed cannot think for themselves, they can only regurgitate what they were told.....except for the not judging others part....they always forget that one.

I think there needs to be more Wiccans in the media to disspell some of the myths that abound. There was the court case of the military family who won the right to have a wiccan symbol on their loved one's headstone. That's a start.

AH - they are the same people who consider the Masonic Order a cult of evil doers - - MOST people think of long pointy noses, tall hats, broomsticks and warts when they hear the word "witch" - that is the "typical" picture society has painted for the masses, so people just accept it and really don't CARE to investigate the possibility the label may be incorrect. It does NOT make it right for you to label them as mentally deficient - they just find no good reason to find out otherwise.

Personally, the only reason I did a bit of investigating about witches and warlocks, was because a good friend of mine claimed to be a white witch and did not want me to freak out.
I have never been afraid of a witch - I find them amusing and entertaining. BECAUSE witches use "magic", and cast spells, I cannot accept what they believe in as "good" - I have a strong belief that ONLY divine beings can perform magic and control other people with spells - and the most outspoken and bold of these beings IS EVIL. Logically, people who perform magic or cast spells, are OF evil - -

In a world full of everything and everybody doing whatever they please whenever they want, I would have to say getting educated about witchcraft is NOT high on most peoples priority list.

Ignorance pretty well sums it up.

Though I gotta say I've read some postings by witches neopagans and wiccans that show an equal ignorance of Christianity and other religious beliefs especially this strange idea some neopagans and wiccans seem to have that you're psychic or into mysticism you should be wiccan etc., etc.

The number of neopagans I know who actually bother to learn any Latin or Greek or other foreign languages or have any truly in depth knowledge of authentic ancient Western traditions is appallingly low !

Far too many of them mistake authentic traditions for a mish mash of Gnosticism and "New Age" pseudo philosophy !

... and before anyone neg points me I am equally critical of displays of wilful ignorance by the sort of "Xtians" who use "simple faith" as an excuse to disrespect scholarship and abuse logic.

Well, not all witches are Wiccan, and some see nothing wrong with throwing a curse or two about.

However, they assume because they lack knowledge, their church tells them witches are evil, and the mass media shows them bad witches in cartoons, movies, etc.

Or shows them crap like Charmed.

Nothing's wrong with them, they are just ignorant of what witches are and what they do.

It's not the public's fault buddy....it's rare to see someone referred to as a witch if she is considered good....I mean look at cartoons and tv shows...you are considered a witch if your 'evil'.....blame the media....but I'm all for it...shows like Sabrina and er....what was that one with that woman who twitches the nose....er...anyway that too puts a good emphasis on who witches are.....I've heard of wiccan...one of my friend's mom is....she is terrific, and has the greates ideologies :)

I had a friend whose wife was a Wiccan. She was a bit nutty but very nice. He said she was the best ... sex partner ... he had ever had.

Wiccans are a form of pagan (worshipping false gods). Anyone who worships false gods is falling into a trap of the devil. Most people will logically equate this with evil. Although witches may not intentionally worship the devil, it is what they are doing because Satan takes great pleasure in any worship that is directed at something besides Our Lord Himself.

If you are of this religion (wiccan) be very careful of possession.
