Cleanliness is necessary part of faith. And cleaning could not be attained only by using toilet paper so water is necessary. The smell do not go even if you clean by paper ten times.

Get a bit of coarse plastic (say, the hypoallergenic bags one can put a pillow in).

Put a dollop of chocolate pudding on it.

Now, try to wipe it off with a paper towel. Notice that you'll remove the bullk but you'll still have smear marks.

Now, use a water pick on what's left. Notice that it goes away, completely lifted off the surface to be washed away.

Bidet is far, far more hygenic than is toilet paper.

And I'm not even theist.

Just to make sure that it is clean.
We have to pray 5 times a day.
We have to be clean when we pray.
Using toilet paper, I find there is still smell left over the ****; I just feel I need to wash it with water.

That'all. Just like to pray with clean bump. lol
