Everybody told you... yes, it is correct: "Jesus te ama" no matter if the person is woman or man is the same thing...

Beardo told you: "Jesus le ama" that is correct but is strongly formal and no matter woman or man...

and "Jesús la ama" that is strongly formal too, but just is correct for a woman
