Yes.
Only a few left.
But a New Messianic Age is coming.

the following day september 28 is the rabbis day - they replaced the holy day calendar in 2 hundred ce and stepped forward it into its latest style over an 800 12 months era till ultimately it took the present configuration in one thousand ce. all their postponement calculations are designed to ward off as much as attainable a holy day from falling on a friday or a sunday. the archives teach that there have been no postponements practiced by utilising the aaronic priests throughout 2d temple situations. hence i would be conserving the day of atonement on september thirtieth as might the priests the sons of aaron that the hellenistic government of israel prevents them from doing their Heaven approved paintings - numbers 18

The Day of Atonement is a symbolic drama of Christ's sacrifice for humanity. Once a year two goats were chosen. One was for the Lord. It was slain, blood sprinkled in the Most Holy, then again the priest went to the outer court and transferred the sins to the other goat, Azazel, and it was left to wander alone in an uninhabited place.
This symbolizes God's accepting our sins, but the ultimate transgressor is Satan, after the judgment all heaven and saints will know the full effects of sin AND he must bear his guilt.
And for the goat wandering, it symbolizes Satan's sentence to walk this earth alone after Armageddon. In fact, Lucifer is killed in that battle, then resurrected to walk this uninhabited earth. You can figure this out in a Bible code. See: http://abiblecode.tripod.com
Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

I think they are wrong ... except for those whose lives will come to an end ... from various causes ... during the next few days.
But theologians in general, do expect Jesus Christ to return during this season ... someday.

Today was the final day for those who died today. And even further yesterday was the final day for those who died yesterday. Now what is this about tomorrow? Live today like it is your last.

I have heard a little bit about it, but have not studied it for myself. †
Edit: It is to celebrate what Christ did for us on the cross. †

Everyone is always saying that "the time is near when God will come and the world will end"... give me a break! It's just another day. The end is here, when you die. Period.
