As far as I know, all there is to do in Heaven is to laugh at everyone writhing in hell.
It's quite the loving religion, isn't it?

We don't know if there is an afterlife, and if there is one we don't know what form it takes. We can't know - we don't have the information to tell us. So many things could be true. There may be nothing; there may be eternal bliss; there may be reincarnation; there may be other things that no religion has even thought of.
I may be back as a baby in my next life, or maybe as a kitten/ cub/ calf/ foal/ chick/ larva. Or I may be chilling out in timeless, egoless bliss at one with the godhead.
Or perhaps.... I'll wake up from the matrix.
The possibilities are limited only by your imagination and your vision of what may be. Why do so few people put spirituality and imagination together in the pot, heat, stir & serve? The resulting meal for the mind is awesome.

Why waste time asking questions about a place you don't believe in? I would think if someone really believed this life is all there was they would have slighty higher ambitions. Edit: The manner in which you phrased your so called question demonstrates a lack of sincerity and a degree of close mindedness. Example lets see how many screwed up theories come forward from you religious peole that have no idea really!!!!! If we have no idea and ony have screwed up ideas then why would someone of intelligence ask such people? It would be a waste of my time to go in depth on a topic with someone who has already made an a priori decision. And only uses an artificial pretense of asking a question so he can use put downs to try and justify his life style choices. It would be a huge step forward if you could learn to be honest with yourself.

I don't know... My guess is they will say you can do whatever makes you the most happy all the time. They always say you will find eternal happiness in heaven. But what confuses me is what if you had a loved one who went to hell... Would you really be that happy knowing your loved one is burning in an eternal pit of fire? It's just something I've wondered for a while now. Along with many other illogical things about God and heaven. Add: I'm tired of these Christians giving me thumbs down. Just because they can't answer a question and they know I make a good point they give me a thumbs down. I'm liking Christians less and less. I finally understand why atheists on here keep calling them stupid and ignorant.

Yes Please put it to sleep! I do not feel sorry for you nor do i "Pity the fool" (you) If you even knew the bible....I will pray for you. If it is that you do not care or believe in the lord why speak of it. This isn't ur first time mentioning his existence.
We all are unhappy sometimes and have things that go on in our lives that make us who we are. weather its good or bad. I've gone through a lot but i will vouch and say that life is not the same when u know the lord. So if ur life sucks or ur angry...learn to deal with it and not pick on ppl who are trying to live a better life and take the chance on something diff. We are all looking for approval and love and whats so wrong in believing in something. Seems like you need something to believe in as well.

Absence of a physical body means that there are no restrictions on my activities. Energy can't be destroyed, it only changes forms. (Scientific theory.) And what are we if not a bundle of nerves (conduit) and electrical energy.
I'm not a religious person, I am a Spiritual person...and I do believe that we (our essence) survive after death. What we will be doing is a mystery that the living will never know, no matter how logical or educated we may be!
So I will live the best life I can with what I know and put my trust in a "Higher Power" for the rest.....Blessings!

I hope I can meet up with my ancestors and talk to the apes. "hey grandpa why did you come down from the trees?"
failing that I'll come back and haunt the bast**ds that done me wrong.
But really it's all just a fantasy. When you're dead Finito, Das Ende, that's it boy! Anything else is human egotism thinking they're better than the rest of "creation".

The bible clearly answers your question..
I Corinthians 15:50 says 'However, this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom, neither does corruption inherit incorruption'. So your quite correct, a physical body cannot go to heaven. Only spirit.
If you read Revelation 5 you'll see that those who go to heaven are given jobs to do. ''you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.
Also why would God want us in heaven when he created Earth for mankind? If Adam and Eve hadn't sinned(which lead to their death), would they have gone to Heaven? No! They were promised everlasting life on Earth if they remained faithful. They were to make the earth into a global paradise. God's purpose hasn't changed. In the lord's prayer we say 'thy kingdom come, thy will be done on EARTH as it is in heaven'.

Hi Rob,
Your right it would probably be pretty boring. If you are serious about finding an answer to your question you're going to have to be willing to put in some research. If you are serious go to: www.eckankar.com some people believe ECK is the ultimate spiritual path as I do. ECK has answered my questions. It is not the correct path for all and you only hear about IT, when you are ready. Go ahead and check it out, what have you got to lose?

What is your idea? I accept that I have no idea; but why would you say that what everyone else thinks is a screwed up theorie? I would LIKE to think that I am going to see my sister, who died at her own hand; my father, who was a cut-up, just like me; my uncle who walked in front of a truck; my mother-in-law who still loved me even though I divorced her abusive son; there are just so many people that will be glad to see me, so I don't worry about it so much. We will have fun.
