Because when I got him (2days old) he was so FAT that when you picked him up ... let's just say he was REALLY fat, lol☺

Fruity aka Fruit Cake my longhaired Maine Coon kitty(he's 6 yrs. old) my sister actually named him but it was cause he was a crazy kitten and he thinks he is a dog. I've been through he** and back with my big guy when he was about 1 1/2 he got outside and was gone for 2 months. I was totally heart sick. I didn't think I'd ever get him back but, one night at 12 a.m. I got home from work and there he was sitting on the roof I had to climb up and get him and rush him to the vet. He weighed 3 lbs. had worms and a broken foot. He's helped heal my heart through the loss of 3 other pets and two babies. Even on my worst days his handsome face can't help but, put a smile on mine.
Tatanka aka Tank, Tonka, and Tankasourusrex a King Rottweiler(8mns. old). Tatanka means buffalo(which he is) I picked the name first then had to find a dog to match. He thinks he's a cat aparently my pets have identety issues. He's so cute and playful he hops around like a bunny. Goes through about 5 tennis balls a week and loves his basketball. He makes this really funny face I call his Elvis face everytime I see it I expect him to say "Thank you, thank you very much.

What type of pet do you have?
Four dogs - two mix breeds, one boxer and a great dane
What's your pet's name? Sydney and Parker are the mixes, Ali is the boxer, Zoe is the great dane.
Why did you decide on that name? Parker was named after Parker Posey. Sydney was named after a college room mate, Ali - being a boxer - should be obvious, and Zoe because my husband said it and it stuck.
Say something special about your pet (something that makes you laugh, smile, or just wierd things they do) Parker is our alpha dog and she has a habit of being the "fun police." She makes sure no other dogs have fun without her approval. Sydney passed away today. She was our quietest dog but was the sweetest as well. Ali is the all-around good guy who gets along with everyone. Zoe is a 105 lb. puppy who can't even quit playing long enough to heal from her surgery.

What's your pet's name? Lola is her primary name...aka "cookie-girl," "cocalola," "bad-kitty," "kitty-brat," and ahost of other "pet" names
Why did you decide on that name? It took me a while. For the first few hours that I had her home she was actually Gizmo, unti I decided that it didn't suit her. I just liked te name Lola...thought that it suited her, and knew she would be spoiled...."whatever Lola wants...Lola gets." sing it with me now!
Say something special about your pet (something that makes you laugh, smile, or just wierd things they do): Lola has an attachment disorder. She was taken from her mommy too early (not on my accord), and sucks my ear lobes like she is nursing...to this day at the age of 6. Sh's crazy. She also has her own myspace page, which is managed by the daddy....lol...I promise I'm not a crazy cat lady.

Canine- Great DANE!!!
FMD Apollo J (Apollo)
His breeder's prefix is FMD, Apollo means "Destroyer" (Great Danes are considered the Apollo of all dogs) and the letter "J" is important to me because a lot of people that are close to me in life have the name that starts with the letter J.
He is over 120lbs and still will sit on your lap, he thinks he is a person, he is incredibly intelligent and loving.

Not sure how he got his name
His decendents are wild, but he is the biggest sissy ever. He loves the be pet everywhere, especially his stomach, he a big talker and screams for affection

*My Min Pin had just died and when I saw her, I felt liberated to love another dog again - she gave me liberty.
*Whenever I have food and she thinks it's for her, she will walk backwards,not taking her eyes off the food for a second. She also charges at my chair like a mad bull when she wants my attention.

*My sister-in-law had adopted her, but she also had a 2 year old little girl at the time. The little girl was going through the "terrible twos" and started kicking and hitting the dog, so my SIL called me and asked me if I would like to have her because she didn't want anything to happen to the dog. I gladly accepted, sight unseen and we all have been inseparable ever since. That was almost 6 years ago.
*When she gets excited, she spins in circles. She loves to be held like a baby.

Kitten: mixed
Name: Medley
She was abandoned (along with her brother) a few weeks ago. I took them in. I wanted an unusual name because of her coloring. She has numerous patches of various colors all over her (a very pretty cat) and "Patches" was just too cliche. I checked a thesaurus and decided on "Medley" because she is a medley of patchwork colors.
She is quite small (compared to her brother) and she can fit into places he's too big for. When I'm up and about, they follow me around and I never know what little cubbyhole she'll find to sit in as she watches me go about my business. Very cute.

I have 5 animals...
2 cockatiels
Their names are Phoenix and Turk
We decided on Phoenix because my boyfriend likes the phoenix bird(fire bird) and Turk because the monkey who is tarzans best friend in disneys tarzan is named Turk and she has hair that sticks up like a cockatiels head feathers.
Something they do that I LOVE is when my boyfriend and I are laughing about something they will laugh with us, it is too cute because they don't even know why we are laughing but they crack up right along with us!
2 bearded dragons
Their names are Rob and Big LOL!
We chose those names because one of them is really dark in color and really big and the other one is very light in color and alot smaller than Big. So we thought of Robert "Rob" Dirdeck and Christopher "Big" Black from the MTV show Rob and Big!
I love to watch them eat! It is so funny because they know when they are about to get fed and they get in this funny attack position cause they know the crickets are on their way.

Her name is Sherbert
I chose her name because she is orange and white and it kinda reminded me of vanilla and orange sherbert ice cream so Sherbert it was!
She is the most loveable, cuddly little thing ever! I can always count on her to make me smile. If I am sad all I have to do is spend a little time playing with her and I instantly smile! Its really amazing how animals have the ability and power to make us humans smile without effort.
So those are my 5 animals! I love them all to death and on that note I would like to give a little shout out to Diablita, she was another hamster of mine who passed away 3 weeks ago. RIP.

He has been my best friend for 16yrs - everyday he makes me laugh, smile just by his unconditional love for me. He loves to play "roll" when your down on the floor with him, you just tell him roll over and tickle his nose and he starts rolling over.

His daddy taught him to "love" if you say the word love to him he can't stop licking your face. He also loves to roll over and have you rub his belly but when you say to him "pink pink pink" he starts kicking his back legs uncontrollably while still on his back, spoiled rotten.

He is my rescue dog and he has really come out of his shell. When we first got him he was really shy, and a little withdrawn. Working with him daily he has really opened up. He loves attention no matter. His favorite past time when his daddy gets home from work in the morning (works nights) he can't wait to jump in bed with him so he can roll over and he and his daddy go right to sleep as his daddy rubs his belly (they both snore).

He came with it (adult adoption)
He's just so calm and nice, just the best behaved dog! I love it when he runs laps in our house! We don't have a yard, so he'll run full speed from one end to the other, and loves to weave around things/people. Oh, he "buries" all of his toy around the house. if you leave a pile of laundry out, he'll dig through it, place his treasure in the hole and nose the clothes onto it. It's so funny!
