Ok, lets try this again.

I just turned 14, and I am living in Florida with my Dad, Step mom, and perverted step brother. I moved here from GA because i've had a lot of trouble in the past, and because my Dad wanted me to.

My dad does not want to pay child support, that is why he wants me. My mom wants the child support, so she wants me.

My dad only lets me talk to my family in GA two times a week, and that is not enough. I REALLY miss them.

It is NOT about the money, because it's free.

Is this fair, and can I do anything?

All I want is for everyone to be happy, and to be able to talk to my family.

You sound like a chess piece - someone moving you this way and someone else moving you an different way.

My best advice: Call mom through Skype or text message and find out who her lawyer is. Talk to the lawyer about what you need to do to move in with mom. Get the judge's name and contact the judge as well. Might as well go all out - it's not like you have anything to lose.

However, I must ask: WITHOUT GETTING IN ANY TROUBLE, What is it that you want?

I think the one thing you cam do right now is focus on yourself. If you have had a troubled past, decide that you are going to change that. Make the best opportunity possible for what you have been given. Maybe you will meet some really cool friends in Florida and you will like your school. Regardless of what your parents are doing make the best for yourself. I am saying the next sentence with regret because I remember being 14 and it all sounds like crap.... but don't assume you know everything that is going on between your parents maybe your dad wants you to live with him because he loves you and it's not about the money. This is a hard time for any teenager just remember you are the only one who is truly responsible for yourself.

At age 14, you should be able to determine who you live with.
Go to the family court that handles child custody and ask for custody to be transferred to your mother "because of the pervert step-brother trying to molest you". Remember to explain about your dad only wanting you because he doesn't want to pay child support. Tell them you need a good female role model... you need your mom.

Ask your mom who to call and set up an appointment with. When you get a piece of paper to the effect of this decision, your mom can arrange travel back home to Georgia... if she can't come to get you, she can at least arrange to send you a Greyhound Bus Pass.

If you have a phone plan with unlimited long distance, it shouldn't matter, so call home as often as you can anyway, or have your mom call you at an appointed time between your arrival home from school and when your dad gets home.

No it doesn't seem fair....but sometimes parents have reasons because they see the future more clearly than you might....I'm sure the $ isn't the only reason he wants you with him.....if you had problems in the past...he might want you to try to have a new life and living in the past doesn't let you have a good day or a good tomorrow.......

No, it's not fair but things change, they always do. But in the mean time try to talk to your dad {not when your upset} and tell him what you'd like ,for you ,very nicely and be calm and confident. Also in the meantime pray because PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!!!!

That is definately not fair. It sounds like your mom and dad are playing an imature game for money. Call the kids help line. They will tell you what to do. They have more experience. please call them.
