you comprehend what, i'm going to flow against what every person is saying: in case you're smart, they are actually not inevitably that undesirable for you. human beings drink coffee for caffeine each and every of the time, the version between coffee and redbull is that Redbull has an excellent form of sugar in it. purchase a sugar loose redbull, it tastes fantastic (or as fantastic as a redbull can) and you get exceedingly plenty an identical effect. Caffeine is often used through bodybuilders, powerlifters, soccer gamers, etc. to intensify concentration before practise. there is not something incorrect with caffeine in and of itself, yet be certain you're a) not having too plenty sugar (that's undesirable for any form of reasons) and b) are actually not eating a redbull once you do not choose it. this implies do not drink a redbull at 9 at nighttime, on account which you will now stay wakeful properly. I basically have caffeine good before I prepare, yet i think of caffeine is fantastic up until approximately 4 P.M.

:3 I always jump into action when I see one of these questions.
I wouldn't give a full energy drink to such a young age possibly half a can.
just a comment on "a coffee is slowly drunk and enjoyed but a redbull is drunk quickly "
So you've been watching how every person drinks their energy drinks? because I certinly do NOT gulp down my Monster in a minute or so, I let my drink span out over about half an hour taking little sips when I want.
Thought I do not like Red bull I would oh so recommend a Monster Khaos, maybe you can drink the other half so it is not wasted. ^_^
Probably have to wait untill 16 or so before allowing a full can of enrgy drink for him/her.
EDIT: I drink monster and I weigh 115lbs O.O!
time to hit the weights! :D

How healthy is it? Not at all, but especially for a 13 year old. Don't those energy drinks say something like "not to be consumed by children"? That being said, I don't think an occasional energy drink will kill you :-)

red bull is fine every once in a while for 13 year olds....everything in moderation. red bull is an energy drink with natural ingridients in it (meaning things that would be taken in by a 13 year old...caffeine=2 rectangles of a hershey's bar, sugars=found in orange juice, taurine=naturally occuring in one's body, and B-group vitamins)
with that being said, (everything in moderation) with the exception of monster. monster is totally not healthy at all. nor is it natural. i only have one thing to say about monster; is that they use high fructose corn syrup. that is the worst kind of sugar for you and the kind that is making our country have the highest obesity rate...yep, 'nuff said.

These are unhealthy at ANY age! Imagine pouring a cup of expresso and two cups of sugar into a freezer pop mold and calling that a treat! YUCK! If that much caffine and sugar is a treat to you, however, make sure you do not confuse it as a beverage. It is only liquid candy with extra caffine. It will actually dehydrate your body. Also, the caffine will inhibit your body from assimilating the vitamin D in the milk you drink. Not only are you not giving yourself something that helps your body, you are making it harder for it to process the healthy stuff you do give it.

Its is generally not healthy for all age..
it is worst for under12 as the caffiene content is 80mg
the younger u r the more easier u are sick
caffiene cost sleepless night which under12 dun really control their intake correctly
a redbull though contain less caffiene den coffee
a coffee is slowly drunk and enjoyed but a redbull is drunk quickly
"Energy drinks" were popularized in the U.S. with the 1997 introduction of Red Bull®, a carbonated beverage from Austria that contains 80 mg of caffeine in every bottle—about the same amount as is found in a cup of coffee. For comparison, classic Coca Cola® contains 23 mg caffeine and Mountain Dew® contains 37 mg caffeine.
Additional ingredients in Red Bull include two caloric sweeteners (glucose and sucrose), three non-caloric sweeteners, some B vitamins, and the same amount of the amino acid taurine as is found in a glass of red wine.
Other brands of "energy drinks" may contain twice as much or more caffeine as Red Bull, plus other questionable ingredients such as guarana — a South American caffeine-containing herb. (In 2005, the sales of "energy drinks" amounted to an estimated $3.5 billion.)
The calories in these drinks do provide some energy, but mostly their content of caffeine and taurine "soup up" one's feelings of alertness and may produce troublesome side effects such as anxiety, irritability, heart palpitations, difficulty sleeping, and indigestion.
These manifestations are more likely to occur with "energy drinks" than with coffee, which is usually drunk more slowly than the cooled "energy drinks." "Energy drinks" can also lead to dehydration because caffeine stimulates urination and thus increases water loss.
Yet another downside to "energy drinks": Because of
