My boyfriend demands that I stay the night at least once a week, I have in the past but, First off he smacks his mouth all night long, and grinds his teeth, he tosses and turns. and then he and I both state the next morning that we don't sleep well. I know this is stupid but he wanted me to ask this. He wants to see which one is in the wrong.

what to do

Sounds like you need to quit being a doormat.
This guy is making demands like he is a husband, yet he is only a boyfriend. He is an immature, demanding little brat. He has no right to demand anything of you.

You don't sleep well together... he isn't trained to sleep with someone else... so you might as well consider this guy to be one of those that you date when you have nothing better to do.

Okay, was the question whether or not to say the night when you don't get any sleep?
If that is it then I say:
Stay the night only when you can go home the next morning and take a nap. If you have to go to work / school then no, go home, get a good night sleep and then stay with him when you have the next day off.

Geez! If he can demand you stay the night once a week, why can't you demand you get a relaxation tape on an iPod to listen to instead?

OK, since your both seeing this answer, I don't think either of you are going to like it...

If your only dating now, you might want to reconsider. You already cant sleep together.....I'm sorry, but seriously think about what your clearly admitting...

After he falls asleep, go to couch, before he wakes up go back to bed.

why stay over if you can't enjoy "sleeping" together.....stay late but then go home to bed.....you'll be asleep anyway....right...not big deal...
