I think you should take a critical look at your faith and ask yourself why you believe what you believe and if all of it makes sense. Perhaps "finding your way back to God" isn't the best thing you can do for yourself. Perhaps you should think outside the box.

I think we all have times when our faith feels like it is being tested. Some times feel more extreme than others. My faith was once again on trial a few months ago, and I regretably lost my patience and blamed God for being unfair. After hitting that rock bottom, I stepped back at what I was feeling at the moment and thought about how others have it much worse. I have met people who are fighting for their life, and still pray to God for things they are greatful for. Oddly, after I cursed my faith and found my way back my prayers were answered. I think it is re-affirming our faith that makes it stronger. It is only human to question. I pray that you find your way back-

Yes, follow blindly....like Bush said "Just trust me".
You see where we are now as a nation. Jobs outsourced to foreigners, the so called 'War on Terrorism', Bush making us (the American ppl) look like a bunch of idiots.
Here's a new thought. Try believing in yourself. Try doing what is right on your own and think for yourself. You are a smart and beautiful person and if there is a 'God' he wouldn't care if you believed in him if you are a good person. If he sees your deeds as a good person, maybe he won't throw you to the hellfire and just let you live your life and let you make your own decisions?
Of course, I'm not trying to test you at all. Believe in whatever you want. I'm just saying, keep your mind open along with your heart and stay focused with your goals in life. Don't let ANYONE, including me, tell you whats right or wrong. Everyone (thats sane) knows whats right and whats wrong.
Just follow your heart, if you do you might find an answer that may shock you but remember our society is built upon a control structure that is good at hiding the truth.

God does not test our faith. We choose to wander away from God. Somehow, you have opened a door for satan to walk into your life. It's called a stronghold.
It's time to pray. Ask God's forgiveness, then use the power of Jesus' blood to bring down the stronghold. It's going to require faith to pull it off. Amazing, isn't it. What you think is being tested, God is telling you is lacking.

Faith means to suspend one’s ability to reason
No, your faith is not being tested by anyone -- certainly not by God. The nature of all human beings is to have a brain that reasons. Your desire to make sense of things, to live without contradictions and to learn the truth of facts is dictated by your human nature. If you were a dog, you wouldn't and couldn't care about truth, justice, integrity or morality. If you were taught that to reason means to test your faith, that faith is superior to reason and that anything that might threaten it is evil, then you have no other choice but to try with all your power to repress your natural ability to reason and obey commands without questioning, as a dog obeys his owner.

I am sorry you are going through such a difficult time. Faith is proved more genuine as it is refined in the fire of adversity. God does not bring about our troubles, but He does use them to develop our "faith muscles."

Faith is the will to believe without evidence. Believing in things that have evidence is not faith.
Ask yourself why would anyone want to test your faith. Perhaps your answer lies in another direction, one without any faith to test.

1 Peter 5: 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
