Pretty much all of the bad words are in Katakana, or the Japanese writing for foreign words, including english. So to say the f word, it would be "Fu-ku".

chinko = pen*s
kuso = sh*t
baka = stupid/idiot

there's a lot more, but I don't know them. there are a ton of ways to cuss in japanese, moreso than english.

On a show i was watching said that they're no such things as swear words in japanese..but its how you say your sentence...like angry, sad mad ...

okay, don't listen to all the other idiots who answered this. arigato means thankyou. duh. the f word is french, and french culture is really big in japan. they haven't changed the word. japanese people say that word the same way americans do.

i dont know about japanese but Chinese its sounds something like Dan-eh with the A sound for EH

I know that "arigato" means "thank you", so the guys who gave you that answer don't know Japanese.

**** is pretty much universal. at the same time if you scream anything one syllable and have the right expression people understand.
