When you fly shapes of crops are in a circle because of Irrigation. The farmer pulls water underground. now think of a circle. the watering machine is a straight line. So the straight line would equal a radius and it goes in a circle. so the crops are green this meathod is called center pivot irrigation..

The circles are green because the irrigation machines that water the crops travel in a large diameter circle, and there are others that just travel in a straight line down the furrows, and from above this would produce a rectangular green pattern on the fields.

Do you mean designs? They did a show about this and it's people creating it. They use a wooden board to flatten down the crops and a rope to make it a perfect circle. It's been quite the new style lately.
