you can go to an orthodontist they can give you somthing you can wear or put on the back of your teeth that can push your front teeth together but rememver you wil always have to wear somthing like at night because teeth will shift back to the way they were when we are older and shifting teeth our teeth are set so when we go in maually move them its only natural that they would want to go back to there original spot ok

I'm 21 and I had braces from about 15-17 and I was afraid of getting a small gap back again, and sometimes I swear I see one. My dentist gave me a retainer for the upper part of my mouth that I wear every night. It constantly pushes my teeth together, closing any gap that is forming, usually over night. I don't know why your dentist would not have given you one. Maybe you can go back to him/her and ask for one. Also, if the gap gets too bad, you could have to get braces again, it happened to my aunt.

my friend had the same problem, she recently got braces, she says its painful when the dentist trys to tight it, If you are under 18, you should get them now because the gums and jaws are easy for the teeth to move.
