That is, if everyone that has ever lived has been reincarnated, would the current population demographic suffice for that?

It is impossible to prove the existence of a thought - so NO - you cannot do it mathematically until you can prove that reincarnation actually exist first.

As for the second part of the question - if all reincarnation took place in humans then we would have a finite number of humans at ALL times. So, it is not likely that this can be the case.

If you extend that reincarnation to include every living soul - then we woudl have a finite set of living soles at any given time.

As such, being finite, there would not be any mathematical formula to prove anything because the number would never change to begin with.

Of course, If junior level souls are being added, it is possible. Plus we are working with the assumption that only one world (earth) contains potential souls. Plus many children died before age one as recently as 100 years ago.

Maybe souls multiply like bacteria.

Maybe there are folds in the time space continnuum. What if non humans can come back as human?

You forgot that not all souls are human. There are plants animals and deities that live off somewhere else, not to mention various levels of hell that are unreachable to people on earth. Not to mention those that have attained nirvana. I don't know if it's mathematically possible, but I WOULD say it's impossible to calculate accurately.

Yes, according to Issac Newton (I believe, or it may have been Einstein) energy is unchanging and cannot be destroyed. Therefore, if our life-force is energy, than it can change and survive. As far as the current demographic is concerned....I have no idea.

All souls were created at one time. Some souls have incarnated more than others. There are many souls on other planes of existence other than this physical one and on other planets and solar systems.

No, don't Buddhist/Hindus also think there are more spirits being made?

Also, you have to account for the other animals...I mean all the bees are dying out, it's cause humans are living too long.

Yes, possible. In theory, population can transfer from other world and rebirth here.

exactly what reincarnation concept has there being a finite number of souls? that they are not being created or retired?

and why does it neccesarily limit incarnations to this plane?

Yes, it's mathematically possible. I mightn't follow the rules you are attempting to hammer it in to, but mathematics are not difficult to satisfy in this instance.

Obviously it's possible, because it's true.
