They must believe he was separate from God because they always pray through Jesus to get to God. Or perhaps they only do that to offend non-Christians....

The God of today is the same God of the Old Testament. God has three parts, a mind, body and spirit. God is the God head, Jesus is the body of God, God in human form, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who comes into our hearts and dwells there when we get saved. The Bible says that we are created in God's image thus we too have a body, a mind and a spirit, however, we are restricted by the laws of this world in that our body, mind and spirit can not venture out on their own. God is not bound buy such restrictions, his body, mind and spirit do not have to stay together in one place.

It is like an egg. When the egg is in it's shell where ever the shell goes the yolk and white must also go. (That's like us.) However, if you crack the egg open the shell can be put into your garden as compost, you can whip up the white part to create the froth for a Lemon morange pie and you can use the yolk to bake a cake....they no longer have to stay together. (That is like God.)

God is a triune being..Father, Son And Holy Spirit.
The three purposes..one God.
Jesus was with God and the Holy Spirit at creation.
He also came to earth as the "Angel of the Lord" all through the Old Testament (the pre incarnate Christ).
He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the end.

I know some Christians believe Jesus was just the Son of God. It OK with me. But, for a Jew to call someone a god would have been frowned upon and to claim to be God would have been Blasphemy and they stoned you.
Now with that said;
John 8:58-59 Jesus makes a very profound statement and they were ready to stone Him. Jesus said; "Before Abraham was born, I Am!" Here we see Jesus referenced a big statement made in Exodus 3:14 to Moses. God said to Moses; "I Am Who I Am!" say to the Israelites "I Am has sent me to you".
John 21:28 Thomas makes another profound statement to Jesus. Thomas says; "My Lord and my God!"
It a hard concept to understand and many do not. But, for myself I believe Jesus is God.
I not have a problem with those who feel different and I have not found in the Bible that either way of believing saves us.

Yes I believe part of Jesus was God, but I don't believe in Old testament God. I think the old testament one is just to scare people and make them obey. Because God is love and forgiving

sure he's the comparable God. The bible says "i'm the comparable the day in the past at present at present and the next day." And the God of the previous testomony replaced into no longer hate crammed and vengeful, i think of somewhat some people examine into that, yet interior the recent testomony we study eternal fireplace and hell this is plenty worse than getting stoned to death isn't it?

Jesus is God's SON, and was not god himself.
I'm a Christian and I don't believe that Jesus IS God.

Christians believe anything they want and probably all of the above whether they contradict or not doesn't matter cause god can do anything according to them.
