Yes, but make sure not to dry out or irritate your skin, as that will make the bacteria that causes acne travel faster, thus causing more pimples. Also, be warned that benzoyl peroxide has been proven to make red marks that appear after a pimple stay around longer, so if you get those brown/red marks after a pimple fades, try not to use it.

Benzoyl peroxide lightened parts of my already pasty white skin. Both are very drying. Why not go an herbal or natural way? Cod liver oil will help with acne.

like the others have said.....it may cause excessive drying and flaky skin...........use plain white Dove soap to wash your face.....then the Salicylic Acid OR Benzoyl peroxide..........and find a really good moisturizer to use after. here is a website below that carries some really good facial products. I buy from them all the time :-)

They are both extremely drying and could damage (possibly scar) your skin if used at the same time. If you are trying to dry out a pimple, you can dissolve a couple of aspirin in 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol and apply. Apply a couple of times a day until the blemish dries up. Aspirin is salicylic acid.

You could theoretically, but it will be very drying. [ as in flake city ].
I would use one for cleansing twice a day, and use an acne gel or cream for any zits.
