ok he got me that but it was really ugly and big and then 3 sets of ear rings they were nice but the ring sucked so what do i do and i am 5'3 and he is way to short and i dont like saying ily and i met another boi but i dont know how to say it ....any ideas besides "its over"

first of all, I think a promise ring shouldn't have to look nice to see the love/importance behind it.
You should break it off taking steps into it.
Don't give warning signs! He'll get mixed thoughts and trust me, just don't do it.
Tell him you need to talk about something important, but do it in person, not on the internet or phone.
remember to be nice to him. Having your bf/gf tell you they want to break up hurts really bad.
And then go from there.

Sounds like you are all about the cover of the book rather than the inside!
I would kindly tell him I really like you but this just isn't working for me. Return the promise ring to him and let him know you don't feel right keeping it. DON'T tell him you think it's ugly. And keep it short but sweet.

Give him the ring back and tell him that you can't promise him what he is promising you. That way you're rid of the ring and the relationship. Besides, he sounds WAY too involved for someone who is obviously not sharing the same emotions.

Just end it and move on. A promise ring is not a wedding ring so get out now while you still have the chance. Just be honest and try not to be mean, but don't drag it out.

ok almost the same thing happen 2 me but i didnt find out he bought me the ring till after i broke up wit!!!
sooo i think you should say i think we r better off as friends but i still want to be good friends
or u can say i like you but not enough to take ur promise ring
