to fund a chaplain leading prayers before Senate sessions? Can it get any more insulting? When will a Supreme Court resume upholding the Establishment Clause? It constantly changes with the makeup of the court, which just shows the flaw in the system of protecting the Constitution.

I can't blame him at all. He is pointing out the flaws within our own Justice System... which makes decisions based more on the popularity rather than on what is right (mainly, its decisions are based on Christian views, rather than the Constitution itself).

What amazes me are the reactions of Christians, such as one of the responses here, claiming that he might "know the truth" based on the lawsuit. I guess they never stopped to realize that he's basing it solely on the fact that the majority is Christian and that the country being run by a Christian (and appointed the judges who would rule over this... so therefore, based on Bush's own words, appointed based on their views, so are more than likely to be a Christian viewpoint, not a secular one, which is what this country is actually BASED on)... he put this lawsuit up front based on the majority to PROVE his point.... our Justice System IS flawed.

According to many of the new laws in place now through the Patriot Acts (as well as other laws), I can be arrested just for saying something against Bush (as if he were the Ultimate Power here... when our own Constitution says we are run BY the People and FOR the People.... not BY any elected official)....

I can also sue anyone for anything and base it on absolutely silly ideas... such as the woman who sued McDonalds just because she spilled her coffee in her lap and it was hot. This proves beyond a doubt that our Justice System royally F'ed.

This sure is silly. Did God sign some kind of contract or something? How much does a Chaplin cost these days? How much does Chambers make? And don't even get me started on the Supreme Court....

The Justices of the Supreme court sit in a room that has the 10 commandments on the wall and on the door, the cost of removing them should fall to those that object to them being there so how about giving up a bit of the money you have that incidentally says, "In God We Trust" Hey if God offends you that much why dont you get rid of all your money and do only Barter, that requires no cash and you and your godless friends could say that you have removed all reference to God from your lives.

Yes, I blame this man for displaying idiocy. Whom do you think has more authority, God or the supreme court?

I don't know if you have ever heard of Dredd Scott or Roe v Wade; but asinine supreme court decisions are nothing new.

The only thing I see new is the refusal to acknowledge precedent.

particular, his reason is to point out how plenty time and funds is wasted on "frivilous" courtroom circumstances, thus suing a nonexistent entity - now if he sued the church homes, THAT does not be frivolous....

Chambers is an idiot.
A professed Atheist, he files a suit against God who he does not acknowledge to exist.

Interesting though, that he filed it against God, and not just a god. Do you think he suspects the truth?
