First you need to ask yourself why are you getting a credit card. A credit card is the easiest way to screw up your credit. If you want to buy things online, its safer credit wise to get a debit card through your bank.

Visa M/C and regular credit cards only show the vendor and the amount. Something like a Sam's card will show all items purchased.

Your credit card statement won't list separate items. It will just show the store name and the total.
