WWJT, I apologize if I insulted you

However, the validity of the question/concept still remains

Funny how you insult this person, when according to most dictionaries sodomy includes the act of oral sex with the same or opposite member of sex.

In addition all sins are created equal in the bible, most people just don't want to accept or admit that.

What were your SAT scores?

Perhaps, we should put more emphasis on education, rather than complaining about the lack of education.

Though I see your point: The main problem about voting without being able to read. Is that the fine points are missed. They only listen to what is broadcast, which either is supper good, or supper bad.

Though, some people have very deep common sense.

Another question that comes to mind, is: How many voters vote who can not read? They may already keep themselves out of the voting booth.

If that were the case then George Bush would NOT be President of the United States of America.

Yes. In a perfect world, there would be a system of points allocated to the votes of different people. For example, the votes of criminals, religious fanatics etc would not score highly whereas the votes of upstanding people with no criminal record and who hold positions of respect within communities would score quite highly. This would make a much better democracy.

I think you should be able to read and write in English to vote. You don't want the "pool" to be too discriminating. That would only cater to one class.

There should be a written test on the issues before you're allowed in the booth.

Yes, we get a "dumbya" in the white house.. That explains why Republicans try so hard to discredit the education system..

I think if it's out there it should be represented, even if it's not what the more educated agree with. What makes people that went to school so wise anyways? I don't think they teach wisdom in college.
