It is very possible for Satan to "deceive us with the Bible".....he uses anything he possibly can. I know people who have read the Bible for the sole purpose of finding fault with it, and they had become even more bitter and filled with hatred for those who love God and seek to follow him. Other people read the Bible and find peace, happiness, forgiveness, love for God, love for others, hope, courage, and a future. In other words, the same sun that hardens clay, melts wax. If you read the Bible with a prayer for understanding and wanting to better your life, you will find it. If you read it in order to prove your point, you will be able to do that, too.
No, Satan didn't have anything to do with writing the messages of the Bible. It reveals Satan's horrible character and warns of his wiles, snares, and tactics. It tells what will eventually happen to him and the evil he is responsible for. You can be sure he wouldn't have wanted to be "found out". But now that his mission has been revealed, the only other option he has is to manipulate and deceive people who read it for the wrong reason, or try to keep them away from it in the first place.
Satan tried very hard to destroy the Bible. At one time, it was literally chained to the pulpits of the church, written in Latin and only read by priests. When it became translated in the language of the people, there was a period of time when it was illegal to own a copy, and in places like France it was burned in public bonfires. However, God has protected his word over the years.

Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the bible is filled, it would seem more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the Word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind.

That just doesn't make any sense. If Satan was going to write a book ( that's funny : )....why would he make himself such a terrible character that everyone would just naturally run from and seek cover under the protection of the ' good one' ? Hey, talk about clever!!!!!!!!!!Gather em all up in a big bunch ,and then destroy them from there...... A fun question ,but the things referred to here are just that--Stories,Fables,....Just goes to show you " Dont believe everything you read"

I stand on the faith that the bible is the inspired word of God. But yes I do believe that Satan uses the bible to deceive and tempt us. He did the same thing to Jesus when he was tempted in the wilderness. If he is going to quote scripture to deceive the Son of God why wouldn't he do the same to you or I?

Why would Satan write us a Bible that tells us to love others, to stay away from evil things, and worship God, his enemy? It's like scoring a point for the other team, its just not logical.

This is a 2 part question.
1st part: YES he does.He is the master deceiver. What do you think Jonestown and Waco and all of the other cults that aren't quite as dangerous as those are? They aren't truth, yet they use the bible. (or parts of it in additon to their other 'religious' books). The word tells us that satan disguises himself as an angel of light. which means, in order to deceive christians (among other people) he has to know enough of the word in order to do it. If he knew nothing about the word of God (the Bible) nobody would fall for most of his tricks where it concerns doctrine.
2nd part. NO. and for these reasons: the word tells us to test the spirits. any spirit that acknowledges christ as coming in the flesh is of God, any one that cannot is not of God. By "coming in the flesh" it means, acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (and God himself).
satan cannot do that. He seeks to glorify himself in the place of God, and such the result is a ton of false religions, ESPECIALLY false 'christian' ones. Therefore since the Bible, says that Jesus Christ is God, it cannot be inspired of the devil. Remember Jesus' whole schpiel about "a house divided against itself cannot stand" when the pharisees accused him of practising magic and sorcery (which, according to the bible is satanic. (check leviticus among other books). and His comments about blashpheming the holy spirit? If the Bible were inspired of the devil, then the devil would be the one who was worshipped as God (or alongside of God, or in the place of God... as he's been seeking from the beginning, but can't be, as he's not God).
Since the Bible clearly states that God is eternal, uncreated, holy and righteous and that HE is God, there is no one like Him; Jesus Christ is the Son of God (i.e., messiah, i.e., God incarniate) and the Holy Spirit is God himself...... (one God, not three!!) it cannot be logically inspired of anyone but God. Had the devil inspired it... then Jesus would be demoted and stripped of his authority by being only just a person, or maybe a holy person, but not God at all., and satan would be equal or above in authority; see that's the trick. satans been wanting to gain equality with God from the beginning, but he cannot. it's what god him thrown out of heaven, and why hell was created. He's not God and never can be. And that's all there is to it.

First of all, satan is a man-made idea to instill fear in us. There is no satan or the devil. There is only God -one creator, one source. Just remember that the bible is man-made. Some parts of it are inspired -- like the psalms and proverbs.. but overall, there is a lot of human inputs in the bible. For as long as you believe that there is a devil, you will always be in doubt about how great God is and how much he loves us. Man puts fear into our hearts. Not God. Please remember that. Concentrate of the good and positive and don't worry about the devil. It only exists if you put life into it.

The Bible reveals his existence, his tactics, his motives, his origin, how to fight against him and even reveals his fate. The best defense of the enemy is stealth. Why would he write a book that tells us how to defeat him? Have you read what the Bible has to say about Satan? I challenge you to read it then draw the same conclusion.

Are you talking about Diabolical Mimicry?
When asked why so many of the story of Jesus were similar to the tales of pagan gods, the christian apologist Justin Martyr claimed that is was Diabolical Mimicry.
The Devil somehow KNEW that 'god' was going to send Jesus to earth so thousands of years in advance the devil influenced the pagan religions to copy the story of jesus.
Which makes about as much sense as Paris Hilton getting PhD.
