This comes from experience - don't do anything. Don't try to make them get along. If they don't want to get along, that is their choice, and if you try to meddle, you're going to get burned. Just continue a relationship with your Dad, and continue a relationship with your Uncle. When they each come to you with complaints about the other, say to them, "If you have a problem with [Dad/Uncle John], then go to them. Unless you do, I don't want to hear about it." It's really easy to get caught up in this, but I swear to you, that if you try to get involved, they'll both end up getting mad at you - and you won't even know what happened!

You do nothing! It is not your place to try and make them get along. You pushing the issue can potentially make things worse. They are grown and in time may work it out but if not hey. Have your relationship with them separately and call it a day. I hope that they love each other BUT they don't have to like each other...sometimes its better for people not to speak rather than argue.

Well, that's not really your concern, your being mature in asking this , but they have to work it out. There may be a brother issue that happened even before you were born. I think you just have to put up with it for now, Perhaps. when you find out more details, we can help.

Oh Yes! please do listen to lordmisrule2004, she sounds like she has experienced a hardship, I have too the best thing to do is let them deal with it their way and for you to stay as far out of it as you can. It can turn on you and if it it does hurt.
