His Word is the sword.

Nah, Child of darkness. The WORD existed before their even was a 'Mary" to give birth to a 'Jesus'. Though one should note that god came down in Genesis 11 (the Tower of Babel) and CONFUSED the WORD.

One should note that the Tower of Babel story takes place in the generation FOLLOWING the FLOOD, so the ONLY people according to the scriptures were the decendents of 'Noah'--speaking only one WORD with few words.

Well, DUH, about the sword comment. "Jesus' didn't fulfill the messanic prophesies---being a 'king of kings' and 'restoring the temple'. Until ALL is fulfilled, there is no messiah yet.

Though one should also remind you that there really are no 'unsaved'. According to the Laws of God, Dueteronomy 13, people are NOT to be converted. Convertion only gives a person an OTHER god---one that the person personally has not known and/or one that was UNKNOWN to their fore fathers. A convertor may CLAIM that their god is everywhere, but if you have to go SHOW someone your god is it REALLY everywhere?!?

Even the 'False Prophet Paul' says, 1 Cor 5:12 For what have I do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. Drive out the wicked person from among you.

With all the child molesting, the raping of women, and stealing of the Tithe in EVERY Christian denomination by priests/ministers, plus all the ickie things done by the rest of the congregations; it sounds like the Christians will have enough to answer to.

The Jews wanted a King and a Lion of Judah. They got the Lamb of God's sacrifice instead.
Next time they get the Lion and he will be angry.
The two edged Sword of the Truth coming from His mouth.
You know your Savior I can tell.
God Bless.

Jesus is the WORD (In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God). And the Bible (the Written word) is also known as the Sword of the Spirit.

In the book of Revelation when it says that he comes back with a sword it is meaning that the word of God is his two-edged sword. Not a weapon to kill people.
