For you, apparently.

As long as you're not losing weight and the baby is growing.

All's fair in love and war... and pregnancy. You're body knows what its doing.

Well I lost about 15 pounds from the time I got pregnant until I was about 12 weeks along because I couldn't keep food down. The doctor finally put me on nausea medicine because she was concerned about my weight loss. Since then I haven't lost anymore weight and up until I was 18 weeks along I just stayed at that 15 lbs less than my pre pregnancy weight. I'm 21 weeks along now and I've just started to put on weight....3 pounds. So that's about a pound a week. But baby has been all healthy...nice strong heartbeat and the ultrasounds always look just fine so he's nice and healthy. Good luck with the rest of your pregnanct and rest assured knowing that everyone's bodies are different during pregnancy! Congrats on the baby and I wish you a safe and healthy delivery!!

I lost 20 pounds in the first 3 months due to all day sickness, and now at 33 weeks, I've finally passed my pre pregnancy weight by just a pound and half. everyone is different, I wouldn't worry unless your doctor shows concern.

This is normal, some women even loose weight in the first 3-4 months. Have you gotten "What to Eat When Your Expecting" yet?

It is really important that you are getting all the nutrients you need, as well as enough calories (and of the right stuff).

Hi, i didnt start putting on weight till i was about 20 weeks. I left work at 32 weeks and had clients asking me why i was leaving cause i didnt look pregnant. I was quite small all the way through. i had him at 37 weeks 5lb 3 and a half and my doctor said i must just have small babies. If ur feeling concerned its probably best to pop into your doctor to give you piece of mind.
