@John P, How dare you relate God to those cheating players and to biased referees.
Your best coach was cheating and biased referees and Hiddink is an average coach, nothing more.
Look at what happened to the Italy-Korea match's referee Byron Moreno at wiki:

Korea returned back to its correct position after disqualifying from the 1st round of the WC 2006
I want you to know that World Cup 2002 will never happen again. Korea will not reach the WC's semi-final again unless Korea develops in football and not buy referees. Today Asia's Best team is Iraq.
And please don't relate football to religion. Iraq and Saudi Arabia are both Muslim teams and they reached the Asia's Cup Final.
You said that Koreans are Christians.Well, the Italians are Christians too, so What is your point?

For me, WC 2002 was better than last year's, even though Argentina didn't make it out of the group stages. I liked how the underdogs knocked out powerhouses: Senegal beating France and knocking out Sweden, Korea beating Portugal and Italy, although Spain were clearly cheated in their game against Korea.
I don't want to see the same damn teams winning over and over again.

korea became the first asian team to reach semifinal.
thanks to coach hiddink who made our dream come true.
hiddink became so popular in korea, because he is the best coach in the world - by breaking the record for helping the asian team reach semifinal.
i have been praying for my team and God answered my prayer by helping us beat italy and spain.
God would not let the koreans cheat - He answered my prayers.
God blessed our team, because most of the players are christians and they prayed to God in front of many people in the stadium.
God bless the christian team of asia!

korea 2002 was a fluke WC and the WORST ever venue for a WC. every good team was a disaster in that WC. as for us, we were the best team in the tournament. if brazil would have met us, we would have destroyed them same as in 2006.
we had so many correct goals disallowed and korea cheated against us. but anyway, we are WORLD CHAMPIONS now, so i have forgotten that trashy tournament.
BRAZIL won it by FLUKE, there was NO COMPETITION!!! THATS EXACTLY WHY BRAZIL DID NOT WIN IN 2006 COZ SO MANY TEAMS WERE EASILY BETTER!!!
