Do I need to be resident or citizen?

Why You people are so mean.... It's just a simple question... I need a simple answer, not a stupid full of s*it telling me to go home. What do you know? Get a life!

Please apply for an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). If you do need a SSN, you can use this in its place, and, you can pay taxes with it also.

It as been awhile since I recieved my cosmetology license but do think you need to show ss number.2 forms of ID before you can take the test.I don't think it has changed, why not call your state board and ask them?
I also think besides your picture, they will want your fingerprints, not sure, I've forgotten.

Ask the school to assist you with a school ID number which you could use to take the state board. It have been done before

No, & you are probably going to have to show two forms of identification, S.S. & birth certificate! A manicurist works on people's hands, the hands can be very delicate & great care must be taken to not harm those who accept your services.

doubtful.....that is you will need a ss# but call an attorney or the board of consumer affairs in your state, they should list the requirements online too.
