I have heard that snorting percocets instead of taking them the traditional oral way will do the reverse effect and become uppers rather than downers. Is that true?

No. The drug has the same effect as if it is ingested orally. However, the immediate effect may be magnified. This medication is not designed to be snorted, and could have dangerous side effects.

Nope, same effect just a more direct entrance to your bloodstream and will hit you a lot faster. It is chemically impossible for a medication to change it's purpose based on it is entrance into your body. So either it's going into your blood stream and doing the same thing.
