please tell him that, if it does not improve the bottom line is do you still enjoy your life thanks to the fact that you are with him? if yes, stay with him. if no, throw him back to the street to bother someone else. Good luck.

Ok first thought when I read this... he is immature. If he isn't working full time while he isn't in school and he is still living with mom and dad... and he doesn't understand that you have house hold things to do on a daily basis like cook dinner and he constantly wants to be attatched to you... he sounds immature and clingy. I say move on... ESPCIALLY since he doesn't respect you haveing other male friends.

I'm sorry but I personally think you should leave him. I know it would be difficult but here is why:

1. Financially not secure
2. Little to no ambition
3. Possibly could turn out to be a very controlling individual
4. Very dependant.
5. Insecure
6. Smothering

Seriously THINK about it very hard. I'm sure he is a very nice individual but that is not always everything that you should base you decision upon.

From other information, he sounds like a potential abuser. Not that bad, but he thinks he owns you. You need to tell him straight up: "I love you with all my heart, but in order for this relationship to go anywhere, you should go back to school and I need to start taking care of things." Tell him romantic nights and late night talks won't be delayed, but you need to do what's best for the relationship.

Dump him I am speaking from experience, I dated a guy like this for four months.(age 36) I think it is behaviour that could lead into emotional abuse as they are so controlling. As soon as I broke up with him, I felt enourmous relief people like this suck the life right out of you, he is far too needy and nothing you do will solve this. Don't worry about his feelings you are not responsible for his happiness only your own.

who cares if he is sensitive if you feel sooo annoyed by him and he sounds like it just bring it to him-he can handle it. OR just say what you think is best to him that would still be nice but let's him know he has to change.

He's a loser, and he'll most likely never amount to anything. Sleep with his father.
