Losing weight too quickly will cause that. The heavier one is, the more water they retain. Loss of that water is not good for the skin. It is essential to keep hydrated at all times. Exercises during weight loss is essential to help the muscles to get toned and able to hold the skin. Dramatic weight loss will result in extra skin hanging, and that will have to be removed with surgery.

Not quite as much but genetics does play a part in it. Some people have more elasticity than others. Exercise can help and I've known some people who started out with loose skin and then through exercise were able to tone up and get rid of most of it.

Yes for sure. The extra fat stretches the skin way out. So when the fat is gone, the skin is still stretched out. You would need surgery to remove all the excess skin. No amount of exercise will get rid of it. Maybe tighten up the muscle, but not the skin.
Is not because the weight came of fast. Is because of the skin being stretche so far. This happens when a large amount of weight is lost, like more than 100 lbs.

It depends on th e person, how much you weigh and how old you are.. For example if a person who was 176 pounds, and 18 lost weight and got to 134, no there won't excess skin. But someone who was 43, 450 pounds yes there will be excess skin.

You will get skin sag even if you exercise if you loose a lot of weight. The extra skin does not just dissolve.

The "key" to your question in losing weight over a long period
of time is "exercise" and diet.
Many people diet and never exercise. When you lose the fat,
you also lose "tissue," and exercise helps build tissue.
Losing tissue in the body, also means losing it in the "heart."
So, check with your doctor before, on your physical condition,
first. <}:-})
