NO NATURAL REMEDY will work. The specific drug that is is drontal and cestex that kills tapeworms is called praziquantal. I have seen some dewormers at the pet stores or feed barns that have this drug in it. It is important to make sure that the medicine is labeled for cats, and that there is a dose for cats. However, the easiest thing to do is just take it to the vet!!!!!

No- the only thing that is going to work is a Drontal or Cestex. Cats get tapeworms by either ingesting fleas or eating rodents. So a lifestyle change for her might be in order for her to stop the infection of tapeworms.

You know what? When it comes to parasites, I'm not going to pussyfoot around with some "natural" way. If you want to get technical, a tapeworm could also be considered natural. Doesn't mean I want one. The vet can give your cat one dose to kill all it's worms, not just tapeworms. There are lots of different kinds of worms animals can get. Don't you just want to make sure they are all dead?

I do not believe so, but if you don't take care if them, they will kill the cat slowly. Please ask a Vet. They have better answers. Tape worms can be contagious to other cats. If you have others, act fast before you have to deworm others too.

You need an anti-helminth medication, which requires a prescription in the US.
