Usually, for the first pay check, it depends on your start day. Usually 2-4 weeks depending on how close to payday your day was. If you close to the payday, it will take longer, if your a week and a half from payday, you will get it probably on that payday.

As for bonuses, it depends on the bonus, its usually after you meet the requirement for the bonus. For example, if its an MOS related bonus, then when you finish AIT. The length of AIT depends on your MOS. If you get hurt in BCT and are delayed, it wont be paid until BCT and AIT is complete. If you get chaptered out of BCT or AIT for some reason, you don't get the bonus.

You get paid on the 1st and 15th of each month. You'll have to wait at least 2 weeks to get that first pay check. You don't get any bonus money until you are out of training, and then a % every year after that.

When I was in the Army, we got paid once a month, and any bonuses came after completing basic & AIT training, usually after transferring to your permanent base.

depends on your job and the shortage of folks currently in that position. I would recommend you do something in the intelligence field. Usually a good bonus and great job potiential after you are out of the military ($60,000-$80,000 per year usually).

Just make sure you haven't done too many drugs or have a police record, they will polygraph test you.

I don't know about a bonus. I really don't remember about the pay either. But you are too busy to really care anyway.

I was paid regularly-once a month, even in Basic Training.

If you are in Basic, you usually cannot spend it, though.
